Privacy Policy
Tanke Calendar · Last updated: July 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Tanke Calendar ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our Android application. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Developer Information
App name: Tanke Calendar
Package name: com.tanke.calendar
Contact: OllieBreanna739@gmail.com
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal or usage data.
The App does not:
- Require an account or login
- Send data to our servers (we operate no backend servers for the App)
- Use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs
- Access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files without your explicit action through the system share sheet
3. Information Stored on Your Device
Content you create in the App — including journal entries, titles, formatted text, tags, favorites, and app preferences — is stored locally in the App's private storage on your device only.
You control this data and may:
- Export it as a JSON backup file via Settings → Data Management → Export Data
- Permanently delete all App data via Settings → Data Management → Clear All Data
- Remove the App entirely through your device settings, which deletes local App data
4. Permissions
Tanke Calendar v1.0 declares no Android permissions in its manifest. The App does not request access to the internet, storage, contacts, location, camera, notifications, or other sensitive capabilities.
When you choose to export a backup, the App uses the Android system share sheet
(ACTION_SEND). You choose where to save or share the file.
The App does not automatically upload your data anywhere.
5. Network Access
The App is designed to work fully offline. It does not require an internet connection and does not initiate network connections for its core features.
6. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, social login, cloud storage, or crash reporting services.
Standard Android system libraries (AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Material Design components) are used for UI and local data storage only. These libraries do not cause us to collect your journal content.
7. Data Security
Your data is stored in the App's private application storage, which other apps cannot access without device root or backup tools outside our control.
Automatic Android cloud backup is disabled for this App (allowBackup=false)
to reduce unintended copying of your journal to cloud backup services.
You may still manually export a backup file at any time.
8. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). The App is suitable for general audiences.
9. Data Retention
Data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, use Clear All Data, or uninstall the App.
10. International Users
Because all data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us, no cross-border data transfer occurs through the App.
11. Your Rights
You may export or delete your data at any time using in-app tools. For questions about this policy, contact us at OllieBreanna739@gmail.com.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be reflected in the App's Privacy Policy screen. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
13. Google Play Data Safety
Our Google Play Data Safety declaration accurately reflects this policy:
- Data collected: None
- Data shared: None
- Data encrypted in transit: Not applicable (no data transmitted)
- Data deletion: Available in-app (Clear All Data)
- Account required: No
